Young Man with His Hand on His ForeheadStress and anxiety are a normal occurrences and in mild levels are not usually a problem. When a person successfully overcomes these attacks then learning how to cope becomes much easier However, many people do not succeed in achieving this goal because they do not know when the combination will occur, and how best to avoid it and remain relaxed.

Causes of Stress and Anxiety

Some of the main causes of stress and anxiety are:
Death of a close relative or notification of a terminal illness: Receiving news that you, or a close relative, has a terminal condition is obviously a case where both stress and anxiety will occur. Making final plans and arrangements, while dealing with the upcoming loss, is extremely difficult for anyone to handle well.

Injury and Disease: When someone learns that a loved one has been in an accident, or has a serious illness, the first response is usually an offer of assistance in some form. The added pressure of helping someone else with their daily routine, in addition to ones own daily life, can easily cause stress and anxiety.

Marriage and Pregnancy: Contrary to popular belief, stress and anxiety can occur during happy events and not just the negative ones. Getting married can be one of the most stressful events in our lives. You certainly won’t be able to get a good night’s sleep several days before tying the knot, and planning the perfect wedding is a leading cause of both stress and anxiety. In the same way, that moment you learn you are pregnant is sure to bring immediate stress, as you make plans for the future. Hopefully, the only anxiety experienced is from planning the party to celebrate the news!

Stress and anxiety are two entities as inseparable as a body and its shadow. Where there is stress, expect to see anxiety close behind – often causing anxiety disorder in teens. Fighting these requires an inner drive and focus. Being relaxed, maintaining a proper intake of vitamins for anxiety relief, and managing situations correctly is a good start towards keeping stress and anxiety at a healthy level.
