A small hole bored through plaster will verify this location. Once the location of the studs has been established and their relationship to the location of the cabinet has been ascertained it is a simple matter to locate the holes in the top and bottom rails of the cabinet as shown in Fig. 2 so that they can be driven into the studs.

WHERE kitchen space is very limited and only one or two cabinets can be accommodated the style shown here will be found most practical because it provides drawers as well as commodious utensil cupboards. This cabinet, No. 5 of the series being presented, is also useful and necessary in a large group of cabinets. Kitchen cabinet No. 5 is a double-door floor unit. As an individual unit located next to the refrigerator or stove it serves as an excellent work table. Some of the features incorporated in its design are a cutting board of ample size located directly under the working surface and above the two drawers, as well as a sliding shelf in the cupboard compartment that will permit the easy removal of any utensil stored on it. The cutting board can be used partly extended, or it can be withdrawn from its location and placed on the working surface for use there. When no longer needed it can be slipped back into the cabinet, out of the way.
