Built In Cabinets And Storage Walls

The installation on the left of recessed oven and drop-in surface unit is of used brick, the weathered tones combining warmly with the natural oak shelves, beams and jigsawed brackets. The kitchen on the right shows the units mounted on cabinets with the top and side of the oven exposed. Note the clever breakfast bar.

Gas-Fired Oven-Broiler And Top Burner

CALORIC'S GAS OVEN-BROILER UNIT AND TOP BURNER UNIT ARE EACH AVAILABLE IN A SINGLE MODEL. THE DOOR PANELS OF THE OVEN-BROILER UNIT ARE AVAILABLE IN BRIGHT OR SATIN chrome, white, pastel yellow, pastel blue, pastel green or black porcelain. In addition, the handles can be furnished in ten different colors plus chrome and gold. The top burner unit comes in either bright or satin metal. If two top burner units are used, they can be placed together as shown in the photograph or separated to form a work surface between them. The island arrangement provides maximum accessibility for the shelf space underneath. The work surface can be covered with linoleum or plastic. The curved skirting is made of 1/8" plywood fastened to a plywood form with stainless steel molding. The decorative screen is made of 1 Vi" diameter wood poles, spaced 8" apart, and decorated with artificial grapes and leaves.

The enclosure in which the oven unit fits is made of 3/4" thick birch plywood. The efficient insulation of the oven permits the safe use of tailored wood cabinets.

Electric Cooking Tops And Ovens

THERMADOR MAKES ELECTRIC COOKING TOPS IN 1 2 DIFFERENT SIZES AND ARRANGEMENTS WITH 2, 3, 4 OR 6 UNITS, ONE OF WHICH MAY BE A COOKER POT WITH A RAISABLE ELEMENT. Three typical models are shown in the drawings. The griddle shown in the photograph is available only with the four-unit model. A larger oven also can be had as well as a warming drawer. They are produced in stainless steel with satin finish.

In the shallow cupboards shown above, all the contents are in clear view when the sliding doors are opened. Adjustable shelves give maximum space utility.
